Ok, change up this year fellas. Instead of shamelessly stealing from some other, more creative person's league, I came up with this one all on my own (please clap). We are NOT doing weekly challenges this year, not only were they starting to feel a little stale, but also it was too ripe for gaming the system for a cheap buck (everyone blame Austin for intentionally benching all his best players to win a weekly challenge one week). It may return next year, who knows, but this year we're shifting the $150 in cash prizes originally devoted to the weekly challenges to a new game. POWER COUPLES.
The idea is simple, its a little "league within a league" where everyone has a partner, and there's a competition between partner pairs. If someone in the pair beats a someone from outside the pair, their "team" will get a win ("Gut Check" week will NOT count for this game). Each group will have 26 total games (partners will still play each other once, no special scheduling changes for this), and the best record wins. The $150 will be split between the winning pair. See below for an example of how it could have worked last year.
Your partner will be chosen AFTER the draft is complete.
Like everything else on this page, I stole this one, this time from a guy that posted on /r/FFCommish. It’s sort of like Survivor from 2022 and Imperialism from 2023, in that its season-long game that updates weekly. Every week a certain number of “strikes” are given to the lowest scoring players left in the game (that number is in the “Strikes” row). Once you get three strikes, you’re out. We will start ours in Week 2 to give everyone a chance to get their wits about them, and this will be the Week 15 Challenge, regardless of when someone is actually crowned the winner.

Taken straight from the bowels of the college football subreddit, the Imperialism map is a growing and evolving map that visualizes success on the virtual gridiron. Everyone starts with a state as selected by yours truly. If you WIN your match up, you gain a state (until there are none left after Week 8) and take any states your opponent owns. At the end of the season, whoever owns the most states will be declared the King of Football and get a tasty $10 reward.
