Officially over halfway done with the season, and wow what a fucking disaster of a season it's been for me (but not as bad as Nathan lmao fool). We'll knock out the admin shit first. The survivor loss this week is Ry- oh wait!! Ryan is already out, which actually makes the man knocked out this week to be... Nathan! Man really just getting kicked while you're down, huh buddy? In other news, Collin continues to be an absolute force and took home another top score of the week, his 2nd which, along with his 3 weekly challenge wins puts him at $25 on the season, already well on his way to breaking even and more.

Collin is actually sitting at 144.2 PPG after 8 weeks, which would put him on pace to match Tyler's 2018 season points record of 2,163 (144.2 PPG). Yet somehow, freaking TK has pulled in the top score of the week three times already. This season is bonkers yall idk.

Ooooo Mike you thought Tyreek's 31.5 points would be enough to win you the challenge this week? WRONG. DeAndre Hopkins raked in 33.9 for Garrett's winning effort to yoink that crispy fiver right out of your hands. Now, if Nathan had actually started AJ Brown over Hunter Renfrow, he not only would have won the challenge but would have made it a much closer matchup. But oh well, welcome to the fuckin' show Nate.

Recaps

Mike 149.3 - 140.04 Jake (86.3)

Jake needed Tyler Boyd to outscore Hayden Hurst by 14 points on Monday night to steal a win and continue what I'm already calling the most impressive turnaround in league history. While he didn't quiiitteee make that, Jake still managed to secure a Top 5 point and has looked like a more competitive team over the last two weeks thanks to 30 points from Kyler Murray and 20+ pointers from Aaron Jones and my dude Nick Folk. Mike can send an edible arrangement of dicks to Dak Prescott (28.4) and Tyreek Hill (31.5) for their contribution to his weekend.

John Luke 130.64 - 167.38 TK (Game Score: 89.0)

John Luke has righted the ship somewhat and averaged 127.6 PPG since his absoluetly abysmal week 4 showing where he scored SIXTY-FOUR points. Unfortunately, a score that has warranted a top 5 score in over 81% of the weeks we've done Top 5 scores fell short of doing it this week. This also marks the 2nd time John Luke has peaked 130 points without a Top 5 score this year lmao. Now, JL can't help that he's playing a TK team that has earned a reputation for explosive games. CMC looks to be right at home in San Francisco and he managed 42.26 points in a game where he ran, caught, and threw a touchdown. With the big week, TK jumps Austin and sits at 3rd place with 10 points with 7 weeks left to play.

Collin 174.78 - 113.0 Austin (80.0)

Collin seriously relax man. Travis Etienne, now without James Robinson to split carries with, blew up for 27 points on 150+ yards and a touchdown, and that was almost an after thought for Collin. 35 from Tony Pollard and 30 more from Jaylen Waddle put this game out of reach for Austin before Sunday was over. Austin did get a big 36.4 from Jalen Hurts, but that was all be negated from three sub-10 games from Courtland Sutton, Mark Andrews, and total bust Jonathan Taylor. Collin improves to 7-1 with 7 Top 5s and sits comfortably atop the charts, while Austin slips into 4th with the 0-point weekend.

Garrett 156.04 - 103.52 Nathan (70.0)

In what could best be described as the toilet bowl, Garrett actually showed out. Daniel Jones (9.04) did his best to represent classic Garrett, but Alvin Kamara broke the mold and had a huge 3-score, 42.8 point game, and DeAndre Hopkins' aforementioned 34 helped Garrett win, lock in a top 5, and make some sweet sweet cash. I won't beat the AJ Brown dead horse, but I will give Derrick Henry props for his impressive 38.8 point game from a whopping 219 yards rushing and two scores. This win pulls Garrett out of the gutter into the much more respectable 9th position.

Ryan 87.12 - 134.48 Tyler (62.3)

Ouch Ryan, that's two pretty rough weeks in a row. You were sitting in 4th just three weeks ago, but how the mighty fall. Davante Adams was a no-show, Drake London found himself less used than in weeks passed, and David Montgomery only managed 7.5 points. That's just not going to cut it in this league. Tyler had a good game, albeit humbled by a plethora of high scores this week. 20+ outings from Kirk Cousins and Brandon Aiyuk were nice additions to an overall consistent display of double-digit performances. It's just bad luck that Jake managed to slip past Tmo's 134 on Monday night to steal the final top 5 score and leave Tyler with only a win.
