Wow. And just like that, we're done. Feels like just yesterday we all met at Ryan's to draft, and now we're here. Subject to another Mike championship and another heartbreaking end to the season for pretty much every good person in the league. I've blown yall up with newsletters all year (which frankly I'm proud of, a great turnaround from a lackluster 2021), so I won't dwell on this one for too long. We'll recap the season at a high level and congratulate Mike for his trophy, the 4th of its kind. Otherwise, everyone's team pages have been updated to reflect the most recent statistics, and the history page is all updated and accurate. Your 2023 keeper options have been established, and we are all aware of our draft pick selection order, so now we sit back and relax, enjoy some no-strings-attached football (including the natty on Monday, go dawgs baby), and start scheming for next year.
Your 2022 Fantasy Champion: Mike
Mike clawed his way to a 3-2 record with 6 points to start the season, before rattling off 5 perfect weeks of wins and top 5s to cement himself in the top 4. When he went 0-3 with no Top 5s in weeks 11-13, his lead over everyone in the league except Collin bent, but never broke. Righting the ship in the final weeks set Mike up for the momentum and the seeding to crush a vastly-underperforming Austin team in round 1 and edge out TK in what was a competitive final. Mike's championship also puts him at #1 all-time in the fantasy rankings, which isn't surprising considering he has the most wins and most championships all time, as well as best playoff win percentage at 9-3 over 6 appearances (technically Juan is 1-0-1 so his is better, but I'm not really counting that).
