Ugghhhh a devastating blow to the exciting playoff run that was my team. Not officially out of it yet, but the path forward is grim to be sure. We're going to break down playoff scenarios, ridicule Jake for his abysmal performance in the Survivor spotlight, and try to figure out who the hell won the weekly challenge, but no by-game recaps this week. Let's dive in.

In the heat of the moment, Jake floundered like a floppy bitch and put on a clown show to knock him out of the Survivor pool and, more than likely, the playoff race. But that wasn't the worst part of Jake's week, the worst part was having to peel through everyone's teams, all fuckin 90 players, and figure out who was and wasn't drafted to figure out who won the weekly challenge.

Four players had over 100 of their points scored from players that they drafted, with TK just missing out at 98.54 (everyone but his Defense and Kicker):
  • Ryan: 106.12 (37.7 from Davante Adams)
  • Mike: 108.22 (29.6 from Tyreek Hill)
  • John Luke: 109.6 (24.5 from Terry McLaurin)
  • Nathan: 115.78 (30+ from both AJ Brown and Amon-Ra St. Brown)

Nathan won the challenge, and in fact his entire starting lineup was drafted except his kicker. He even drafted the Saints defense and has held on to them all season. John Luke's entire starting lineup was also drafted, including his defense and kicker, with the exception of Tua at QB. Great work fellas, though there clearly isn't a strong correlation in sticking with your draft team and season-long success (this season, at least).

Playoff Hunt

  • Mike and TK have officially punched their tickets to this year's fantasy playoff
  • Austin is only one win OR Top 5 point away from locking up the last spot. Austin has two weeks to earn just one point

If Austin fails to get 1 point

  • John Luke and Ryan each won the season series vs Austin, so they would need to go 2-0 with two Top 5s to make it. If they both did, John Luke won the season series vs Ryan, so JL would take the spot
  • Tyler lost the season series vs Austin, so he needs there to be some sort of crazy 3+ way tie that might see him come out on top. I couldn't figure out exactly how it would work.
  • Jake would need to go 2-0 (which would mean beating Austin and tying the season series) with 2 Top 5s, and outscore Austin by around 95 points over those two weeks

Out of the Hunt

Garrett sits 5 points below the 4th place spot with only 4 points left to get, so he is officially eliminated from playoff contention
